We apologize for keeping you all hanging today. Trent's closure went well. They told us that they may have to go back up on some of his meds and it may be a minor set back. However, he did really well.
They had to go back up slightly on his heart meds and he went back up slightly on the ventilator...But we're happy to say that they are both back down a great deal this evening.
The next step will be to take him off the ventilator...and hopefully that will be in the next few days. Two huge hurdles are behind us and we feel so relieved. We know the road is still long...but we're thankful everyday for each step of progress.
We enjoyed some time with Braxton and our besties this evening. Braxton made Trent some signs to hang up in his room. We've decorated his suite with lots of pics, his awesome wreath that Marlene made him, and his signs from his big bro. Look for some pics of his digs to come soon.
It was amazing to see all the visitors who came by today to support us as we waited to hear the good news that he had been closed. Again, we cannot explain how thankful we are to have so much support.
We are seeing God work little miracles daily with Trent's progress. Thankfully, so far it has been God's will to heal Trent. Our prayer is that God allows Trent to continue to heal and grow and that we get to take him home.

Our God is so good. We are so glad that Baby Trent is doing well. He is adorable and we love him oh so very much. We had a great time this evening. Glad we were able to get you guys out to enjoy your birthday celebration. We hope you have a great birthday Holly!! We love you guys so much!!
