Trent continues to amaze the nurses and doctors. He continues to improve by gaining weight and strength even after the removal of the feeding tube. He is 20 grams away from weighing the same amount he did when he was born, 8 lbs. We hope he gains at least that much today.
The earliest Dr. Peeler has ever sent a HLHS baby home from the hospital is 9 days from the day of the surgery. This is day 13 for Trent. The average stay for a baby is 35-40 days. If Trent continues to gain weight over the weekend, the doctors say we will get to take him home on Monday. Wow, how awesome is that. Continue to pray for us and Trent. We have almost completed the first of three stages. We love each of you and thank you so much for your prayers and support.

Psalm 22:22,28:6
Then I will declare the wonder of Your name to my brothers and sisters.
I will praise You among all Your people.
Praise the Lord! For He has heard my cry for mercy.

The pictures bring tears. It's so amazing to see how far Trooper Trent has come. And the pics of B-Man with Trent...how sweet. Braxton is going to protect his little brother. Thank you Lord for everything you have done for Baby Trent. Thank you for healing him thus far. He brings so much joy to our family. I can't wait to see him and Eva playing one day. And thank you both for being such awesome parents!! You both are such great people. We love you guys!!
