Cruisin Right Along

It's been a while yet again since we last updated.  Yes this is the same Trent Williams.  We decided to change the look of the blog a little.  Well Trent is doing really really good now, awesome actually.
He seems to have gotten past his vomiting thankfully.  He hasn't gotten sick in a while.  That is a huge relief for him and us.  He has finally gotten his appetite back.  It took him a little while but now he's eating like he was before his second surgery. And he just loves baby food.  He loves eating most of it and enjoys spitting some of it out, especially green beans or peas.  He no longer has to take the pain medicines although, he still takes 3-4 different medicines each day.  He does really good with that...he loves taking them.

Trent is such a happy little boy.  He talks...or jabbers a lot.  He loves playing with his brother Braxton.  He is now sitting up really well. We are able to take him out some now.  It is nice to be able to show him off a little.  We still have to be careful with where and when we take him.  The doctor said a Saturday afternoon trip to wal-mart is not a good idea but taking him to see friends and family and going places that are not too crowded would be OK.  The time of year is another reason to continue being cautious especially with the colder weather approaching and it being cold and flu season.

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about an upcoming event.  For those who may not know, there will be a blood drive at Rawlinson Road Baptist Church in Rock Hill this coming Tuesday October 18 from 3:30-8:00 p.m.  I, like a lot of people, used to never take the time to give blood until a few years ago.  My outlook has completely changed since Trent had to had blood several times after his surgeries.  I know firsthand how important it is.  This blood drive is a little more special to us than most because this blood drive is dedicated in honor of Trent.  That is so cool.  So please, donate blood, if not Tuesday, then sometime and somewhere else.  Thank you Eric for all the work you do with the blood drives and thank you Rawlinson Road for your support.

Trent continues to make improvements each day and we can't thank God enough for the blessings He has given us.  We are truly humbled and by no means feel worthy of what God has done.  We know that God has big plans for Trent and can't wait to see how He is gonna use Trent.  As always, thank you so much for your continued prayers and support.

Love,
Wayne, Holly, Braxton and Trent

I enjoy reading all the awesome news and how God is truly taking care of our sweet heart babies. I laughed when I read that Trent will not eat peas or green beans....Murphy likes everything but those as well! Can't wait to get toghther soon! What a great pic of both of your boys!!!!!
